Haha, thanks. To be honest, there really wasn't much to change with the F59PHI. Just adjusting some parameters such as fuel capacity and locomotive weight. The major change was the dynamic brake fix. The unit is pretty much complete, and I can release it at my leisure. However, I'm quite busy this week with school, so if anything, I'll try to get it uploaded this weekend.

The major problem with the F59PHI is the automatic brake with the Surfliner cars.

If you so much as look at the brake handle it goes into a 40 PSI reduction and it takes forever to recover from it, which usually stops the train dead.

Have you had any luck with it?

I've tried changing the brake parameters in the surfliner cars. They were originally set [proportionalrelease]efalse[proportionalrelease]. I changed it to etrue, but that hasn't really fixed the issue. The only fix that I find sort of works is mixing in other passenger cars into the consists. If you run a surfliner consist with one superliner, or one amfleet, the brakes will apply and release more proportionally.

Then it is really a bad value in the blueprints. We'll have to look at other parameters, maybe copy the superliner values over.

Unfortunately now the 2 career scenarios give a cant load track.bin error when loading. and the sequencer key (c key) Does not work with this fix

I can't guarantee other things will not be affected with this download, however, the horn sequencer still works on my version, so that, I cannot explain for you. However, if you followed the instructions to the ball, there shouldn't be debilitating issues.

I did follow them to the t but not a big deal I do not drive this train that much anyhow and I know there is no guaranty it will work the same on my machine as it does on yours but thanks for the effort and the reply.

Even without applying this patch, I find the sequencer key is iffy. Sometimes it stops working for no reason until I restart the game.

Same. on my machine, i need to press the key twice for the sequence to activate... and sometimes, only the bell comes on, and sometimes, only the horn comes on.

yes I may try it again but it still affects the included scenarios and again that is not that big of a deal for the benefit of a proper brake I can deal with the scenarios I do like the sequencer key though

You have to make sure the triple valve is also set to eTrue.
Make sure graduated release is also set to eTrue.
Make sure any minimum reduction pressure in the loco simulation file is set to 3 psi. Note: 6 psi is the prototype minimum reduction pressure, but 3 works best on the American locos.
Make sure all triple valve ratios are some where between 2.4 and 2.5.
Maximum system pressure should be 90.
Maximum reservoir pressure should be the same as system pressure 90.
Maximum cylinder pressure shouldn't be higher than 65 although I usually use 60 for freight and 50 for passenger stock.
Pressure for maximum force should be the same as maximum cylinder pressure.
Set the hand brake blueprint to the same specs as the train brake blueprint.
Hope this helps.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.
