Using expert or simple controls? Using the levers in the cab (which don't always work) or the F4 HUD, or the keyboard? Did you read the manual? Some of these little engines are particular about getting started. The RS3 is a good example. If you don't read the manual, the brakes won't release and you don't go anywhere.

And did you clear the blueprint cache? From the main TS2014 menu page> Settings> Tools> Clear cache.

I had this happen with a repaint I installed on the GP20, didn't have any throttle response. I cleared the cache, then verified the game files and it worked just fine. Also switched from simple to expert controls.

To verify game files, click on Steam in your Task Bar, choose Library. Right click on TS2014> Properties> Local Files tab> verify. Careful with the verify, it will wipe out any sound or lighting mods you have installed. It won't hurt third party stuff or repaints.

Will I be able to reinstall the sound mod after verifying?

Yes... You can still reinstall everything you had after doing this.

I don't know how much help Verifying Steam files does for 3rd party files. That usually gets rid of them.

*Also double check that you have Expert Controls on not Simple.*

Good, no school, it's a snow day, so you can learn and practice with TS2014. !!*ok*!!

If I may, you have really jumped in feet first with this sim, trying to do things in a few weeks that some of us take a lot longer to learn. Sit back, take it easy, read manuals and tutorials (lots of tutorials in the file library) then try stuff out. You have all the time in the world. Enjoy it, don't let it drive you nuts so early into the game. *!!wink!!*

13 inches and counting and a level 3 Blizzard Alert. with -19 being the high tomorrow. No school likely for the next 2 or 3 days since ODOT sucks. !!*ok*!!

(Sucks when you leave your house in a vehicle and you can be arrested.)

Anyways, Back on topic.
