I think Woody meant foam as in "foamer", someone that gets foam around their mouth when excited about a train. !*drool*! !*drool*! !*drool*! !*drool*! !!*ok*!!

*!!thnx!!*

Here's a look at another important asset I've spent quite a lot of time on (it's now ready to be animated before being positioned on the engine frame) ...

A few dozen postings back, you thougth it was impossible to animate the valve gear into forwards, neutral and reverse positions.
Did you discover yet another clever trick? Of will you animate just the reverser and the angled lever/fulcrum in the Baker bracket (which name escapes me now ..)?

Just the reverser (including the valve lever, combination lever, union link, piston and reach rod in the power reverse gear), and the reverse arm and lifting links near the valve cylinder. However, the lifting links will be disconnected from the radius bar. Fortunately, in the FEF-3, the join between the radius bar and lifting links is hidden from view (unless you go up very, very close), so I can get away with the illusion.

Yes indeed, very interesting. I think if I'd been around at the time, I'd have liked to have been a designer of real-life locomotives. Making them for TS is the next best thing, I suppose.
