Horseshoe Curve default car selection is pathetic and more recent routes only slightly better.
Standard passenger cars, either heavyweight or steamlined, for use in pool service.
Caboose with tail end markers/lights that pop up automatically
One and the same buckeye coupler for all freight cars with connecting brake hoses that doesn't get pulled out of its socket.
Specifically my wishes: more late steam/early diesel freight car models of general/standard AAR designs
2 and 3 bay hoppers, smooth or composite or outside braced, with peaked or radial ends that were common in the 40's till 60's on coal hauling roads.
a few more gondola's, either straight side or fishbelly
a few more flatcars of different lenghts, either straight side or fishbelly
All cars in kit form, with different brakewheels, roofwalks, boxcar doors/ends. You'd be amazed over the prototype variations in these parts.
All cars with repainting kit and ready to run auto numbering decals
In modern cars, working Hydracushion underframes with their extended couplers.

The couplers are available right now and have been for a long time.

I'm at work so no time to post links to pictures just now.
