One note to this - you can do this and have the blueprint editor running also, but not the asset editor and game.

Also, I was under the impression that the asset editor and the now defunct viewer were somehow different rather than the same entity.

Yep, especially since one wouldn't be required to load Steam/RW. :D

Yes, please! Such a tool comes in very handy.

What a about a batch catalog feature, i.e. to have the program produce snapshots of all assets in a folder?

When talking asset viewers, it there an asset pointer in the world editor? So that when I move the mouse over an asset, its name and location shows?
That would make finding a certain asset much easier, even without a viewer.
