HLCX-Red Missing Numbers

Unread postby BlueLight » Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:56 am

I am missing the numbers on the red model. At first I thought I had a bad download, but it wasn't the case. After the second download and reinstall still missing numbers.
The blue version is fine, just the red. Is there a fix for this?

Yes there is. This was just brought to my attention this morning. The digits in the bin file are looking at the "Black" engine which I think was a default one sometime back but I think must have gone away in newer versions of RW. I had to run off to work but the blue one is looking at the numbers in the blue folder.
That's why it works. Sorry about that. I'll post a fix here tonight.

This is getting to be a problem in Railworks 2013+ IMO. Content that used to be default isn't any more, so as a creator, you never know what a "safe" target of minimal content for reference / alias is....

What' is more sometimes although you think you looked at every element and had the thing beta checked the problem doesn't show up until you throw it out there. You try to do it right and still have problems. Grrrr.

Because they started with 2013 and did not get all the old default stuff. So maybe when we repaint old default we need to send it all out?

My bad. The numbers were aliased to the NERW Black loco. Anyone who lacks numbers this should fix it. I will send Bob a updated File along with a couple of other little things he pointed out to me.

Unzip this and put it into the SD40-2 HLCX engine texture folder. You will need to over write the existing bin file.
