Hi Bob,

I downloaded the repaint and had the same problem as you, when I tried the installer. It goes through the motions, but the files do not show up in the proper Assets folders.

I copied the files manually to railworks and was able to load the repaints. Possibly the the easiest way is to copy (or drag and drop) the railworks folder (inside SD40-2_HLCX_blue.zip -> HLCX_blue) to the ../Steam/SteamApps/Common folder.

After doing this, I was able to load the repaint. (Very nice, by the way.)
Hope this helps.

After reading this I think the problem is when the auto install asks where to install this you are saying that the path is correct when it is not and the install is then going to somewhere other than where it is supposed to go. I have had that issue with other down loads in the past. Anyway it's good that you figured this out. !*salute*!

I have Steam/Railworks installed in the default location so the path should be correct. Thanks for the great repaint!

Hello Mike
Thank you very much for this information I will try this out later.
No wonder I had so much of a problem getting these engines located.
I just figured it was me doing something wrong again, because I only know enough about computers to be dangerous *!lol!*
Well I will have a new project for tomorrow.

Thanks again.

I read all this and I've found over the last few months that, some of the file paths changed in TS 2013 when they made Cajon Pass a payware route. The problem probably extends to other routes that became DLC rather than default as well.
Ergo some of the installers for file library downloads no longer work do to the new file paths.
If any of the people that made these reskins and free DLC read this and want to update their installers, they should consider a wait until TS2014 comes out, since the same thing could happen to file paths.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.
