Is the above information true?
I've been on Ian's Blogspot and all I can find is pictures, and a bunch of links to download files.
There are links to freeware assets and donationware assets, but no mention of what these are.

I can't find an actual text description of the payware and its contents.

Thanks!
My bad, I hadn't noticed that this wasn't the final version.
I just noticed the date in grey type.

Does this mean that RSC should start doing something with it soon?

RSC has nothing to do with Ian's releases.

Is Ian doing the partner program or is this thread just in the wrong section?

This has already been hashed over way back but it is what it says. RSC DLC Development......stop.....WIP....stop. For other payware under WIP.

I feel your pain on your computer crashing, Working on the Foxtrot Pass, The Exact same thing happened to me.

And now i Really wish i had paypal or something, because:
1. I Really like your routes and locomotives
2. I believe that i should support you somehow

Sadly i gotta wait a for a bit until i can start helping in funding you.

Ian's work and attention to detail is brilliant. He also recently upgraded his dash 8 for free. You won't catch RSC doing that for DLC.
I like supporting the small guys. You get top notch work and support.
I'm looking forward to this route being finished.

I know the UP line goes all the way down to Tacoma bay but I just don't have the time to model that track all the way down and meet my October deadline. its modeled to kent, wa. Theres just so much industry there and its hard to cover it all. I may in the future push the track work thru the UP side. We'll see

While we're on the topic I figured out my strategy for its release.

the route contents and assets are a free upgrade to those who already got it. However there are some new things like scenarios, 2 locos, and a 5 bay grain hopper.

brand new redone dash8w in BNSF livery, plus a 5 bay grain hopper model, and trashcar.
brand new sd60M tri-clops in BNSF green livery and UP repaints.

these new things will be included in a separate pro pack that comes with the new route. if you want them just buy the full package, I'll work out the price point as to not tear your wallets open lol. promise.

LASTLY as promised there will be a free upgrade to dash8W owners to include a completely re mastered model. the unit will be the NS unit with its prototype light setup. the BNSF unit which has different light set up will be in the new Seattle pack project.
