Missing numbers

I need a bit of help here. I installed a ATSF reskin for the SS SD40-2 Road numbers 5121-5126. I copied over the appropriate .Geo files but I am missing the road numbers on the number boards and the rear of the locomotive. The Numbers.dscv is in the engine folder. Where should I start looking to correct this? Does anyone else have this pack?

Where did you get that from?

I have OMS (old man syndrome) and forget a lot of things. I usually include this information when I save and store my downloads. This time I did not. I have spent the morning searching the usual suspects but have had no luck in finding the original download location.

Do you have a pic of the loco? I don't have that paint, so I need to ask these one at a time. First off look in the bin file and look down just above where it calls out the Geo's and it should tell you what texture is being used for the numbers. Then you need to go into the Textures and look at the SD40-2_digits.bin and see if they match.

From the ATSF BIN file.
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF-5121\Engine\Textures\SD40-2_digits.xml</BlueprintID>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
</PrimaryNamedTextureSet>
<SecondaryNamedTextureSet>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
<BlueprintSetID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString"></Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString"></Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString"></BlueprintID>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
</SecondaryNamedTextureSet>
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF-5121\Engine\[00]JRSD40-2_UP</GeometryID>
The Textures BIN file calls out SD40-2 Digits.for both the host and the repaint. I appreciate your patience. I have not had enough courage or knowledge to work within these files.

Open the digits bin in the Engine\Textures folder and see if it says: SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF-5121\Engine\Textures\[00]primarynumber_0</TextureID>
and so forth for all the numbers. If it doesn't that's what we need to fix. If you don't feel comfortable fixing this holler and I'll change the folder for you.

I think those are my repaints.I created a seperate dcsv folder for each road number. They should have downloaded in each version. Check that you have those files.

This is what I have and matches suzukisk2
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<cCSVArray xmlns:d="http://www.kuju.com/TnT/2003/Delta" d:version="1.0" d:id="1">
<CSVItem>
<cCSVItem d:id="2">
<X d:type="sFloat32">0</X>
<Y d:type="sFloat32">0</Y>
<Name d:type="cDeltaString">5121</Name>
</cCSVItem>
</cCSVArray>

There seems to be the issue. The line reads:
<TextureID d:type="cDeltaString">SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\DelAnSon 7700\Engine\Textures\[00]primarynumber_0</TextureID>
so that line needs to be changed for each road number, correct?

With all the help I was able to find the error in the bin file and use Ctrl+F to find and replace the error. One done and more to do. Old dogs can learn new tricks, it just takes longer.

Here a patch for the numbers and the LocoInfos, PreLoad consists included:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qF02gy ... sp=sharingI recommend this repaint, too:
https://mods.trainsimcommunity.com/mods ... -atsf-5026This repaint by Jonasson Bacon and The Batman for the snoot version is more faded than the repaints by suzukisk.

In above files two PreLoads are included with this snoot version.
