GP9 Repaint Templates

Unread postby styckx » Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:59 pm

Here is the cab, underframe and engine textures all naked.. Essentially just the alpha channel cleaned up to remove all the artifacts and removing some sections that blocked other items and all adjusted to be same overall brightness. Under base I left three areas as is as they usually require no actual paint.

These are the same templates I created and based all my GP9 repaints off of so figured I'd toss them out here for anyone who wants them.

You're welcome.. Just remember, these are PNGs, no alpha channel with these.. Idea is to basically open this up, copy and paste the whole thing as a new layer over the DDS you have opened up

Thanks guys. The templates are making this repaint a breeze. It's pretty much just down to road numbers and nitpicking.

Can anyone please tell me what number range GTW used for GP9s equipped with dynamic brakes?

Well, look what I found trying to hide in one of the engine sheds *!greengrin!*

OMG, time warp, saw Grand Funk with REO Speedwagon in concert. Jeese, flashbacks. At least this was a really good one! (I used to have a Fender, BTW. Never did learn to play guitar, tho)

Now to fix those pesky number textures. I might just have to make some new ones.

Looking great. Amazing how much easier repainting is when you have a nice clean canvas to work with huh? :)
