Equipment Pack 02:

Unread postby qrfan3 » Wed May 25, 2011 7:35 am

This is pack 2 of rolling stock for Tori’s C&O Alleghany Route.
Yes, these items of stock are all Pay ware and Donation ware from the Portland Terminal Route and the RWA donation ware Pack.
Why you may ask…..well, this is how I see it.

We have Ed ( Hawk ) Hawkins who gives us all a place to come and discuss all aspects to do with Railworks2, show our wares, WIP’s and even chat about the real world of trains. The download section is very well organized, as is the forum, and with the continual software / security upgrades this is a cost he has to maintain yearly for allowing us all to have freedom of access.

Our well known 3rd party developers of Dick ( Britkits ) Cowen and Michael ( GreatNortherner ) Stephen renowned for their rolling stock content at very reasonable prices who have graciously given their free time and the RWA pack contents to help Ed with these running costs.

Rick ( ricksan ) Grout owner of G-Trax Simulations ( who donates the majority of his net profits to three RR Historical Preservation Society’s ) and who produced the Portland Terminal Route from which the C&O GP40 was painted. Rick also and graciously donated to Tori and her C&O Alleghany Route a modified freeware version of his Berkshire in C&O Kanawha livery.

Taking nothing away from all the other great 3rd party developers, these persons were named only in reference to this pack. By having purchased or purchasing these items and running them in your Railworks2 game you help support the people who give us the freedom and enjoyment we all want.

Nothing in this pack is of any gain whatsoever to me.
Thanks.

Permission has been granted for me to repaints these models in the C&O livery and for this repaint only from the original owners and builders. I have made some modifications to Dick's couplings with his permission in a stand alone folder and will be part of this download. Other mods have been done to the originals and will be noted in the read me. This pack will contain two styles of 100t hoppers with the progress logo, the Chessie logo and auto numbering of 150 for each. The GP40 will come with two versions with static numbers only.....one faded and one dirty looking. ND ( No driver ) versions are included as well as a couple of little treats for those C&O fans. All engine physics and sounds are default...I don't venture into these areas as I believe in each to their own.

They are just around the corner and will sent to Hawk for upload in the next day or so......just a few little checks to be redone and a little mod which has come out of a testers report.
Enjoy.

The file has been sent to Hawk.

For the convenience of those who do not have The Portland Terminal Route or the RWA Donation ware pack I have included two xxxxx.rwp files for your ease of install of the repaints.
One for the GP40 ( from the Portland Terminal Route ) and one for the 100t Hoppers ( from the RWA Donation Pack ).
The readme gives clear instructions on the steps required to install which repaint of the Packages you may have.

You must also have, both or either of those Payware / Donationware packages installed in their default location for these repaints to work.

The Payware & Donation ware Packages:
By purchasing / having both....... you support / have supported the very people who give us this freedom and enjoyment we have in our great hobby.
If you have any issues with the install or running of these repaints please note here in this thread of your problem.

Thank you!!
