A little something I've been working on in the past weeks. A PS 5277 cubic feet 50ft boxcar. Some parts (ladders, grabs, brake system) are still missing or wrongly placed, but the main shape is about done. All the roof and side supports will be exported as extra shapes to be added to the car with the 'Fittings' tags, so you can also have this car with 'flush' sides for easier photo repainting.

Based on the same parts I'll also be doing a 50ft hi-cube and an 86ft autoparts boxcar, unless somebody else beats me to it.

Michael, that is really good news. We are desperately short of boxcars for the late 70's onwards.

Maybe now get yards looking a bit more realistic and get rid of that default boxcar

One question, would it be possible to have a shape without the brake pipe as well, in order that we don't end up with two if we use Dick's coupling upgrade?

Rod, the brake hoses will be optional parts. I'll try to do this with the "fittings" option in the BIN file.
