I can't wait! So what livery's are going on it?

I haven't decided on liveries yet. I still need to figure out the best way to unwrap the model for texturing. The Max automatic unwrap that I used to generate the shadow bake results in the sides being mapped into too small an area on the texture.

The livery that comes first into my mind is, yeah right, Western Pacific.

I don't think that the WP ever had any of this early version of the 2-bay 70 ton hopper. Their's were the later "round hatch" Pullman Standard PS-2 type which would be a fairly straight forward modification of this model.

lettering details.

Rio Grande, Bulrington Northern, and A.T.S.F. are my choices!

Thanks for the link dejoh. That should keep me busy for a few years! Hopefully I can make it easily repaintable so that I don't have to do all the work. The other problem with the Max automatic unrap is that it breaks the model into hundreds of tiny pieces on the texture, making repainting a real challenge.
