Locomotive request sd70mac

Unread postby amtrack505 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:38 pm

Hi I'm new to this form and not good with modeling programs. So I was wondering if RSGray or someone here on the railworks team could fill my request. My request is a US sd70mac.
Waiting for the next train back to Railworks!

There is an SD70ACE available thru the Steam Store in UP livery, Not sure what the difference is between the "ace" and the "mac". !*don-know!*

EDIT: NVM, the MAC has a different nose and smaller radiators.

SD70Mac was the first saftey cab units from GM EMD. The SD70Ace is the newist and it has more house power then the Mac. BN Was the one who order more SD70Macs then any other railroad back in the 90's. BN 9401 was the first Mac to be painted in the Excutive Paint scheme. !!*ok*!!

So you are the guy who develops it? Wow, just saw your signature for the first time. Stunning work.
I just remembered that there had been a video of this project and I searched for it again. *!!wink!!*
Also you can now use the sounds and cab from the SD70ACE dlc. I think it's pretty much the same, isn't it?

Anyway:

@michaelcorleonepate: Yeah, I'm waiting for a new exporter from Blender."

They're similar I think, there's a video of a SD70M starting up and it sounds a lot like a Class 66 loco.

This is frustrating. But I think you should keep on making it, maybe yours is even better then the rs.com model.
But I think they sould put back the F40 and instead make the P40DC Genesis with Superliners.
They just anounced the Mac today and BNSF livery is confirmed.
