I can't begin to tell ya all how painful the first repaint is. I still can't get the b unit to show or can I find some fonts large enough to fit on this loco. Hopefully beforE any of you die of old age I will get this figured out.

Hi,

That looks like a great start! Good realistic colors!

It is hard to tell from the angle the screenshot was taken in, but I assume you repainted the TgPcDx files from scratch, based on the original engine's ones? If so, you should have a look at the RW F unit Repaint Template textures kit Marc Nelson has uploaded for all of us at 3DTrains. They are much easier to edit, as they come nicely layered with all the grilles, windows, etc. masked out so you won't accidentally paint on them, and the rivets and stuff also stay intact without you having to do anything about it.

To edit them you only need Photoshop or any program which can open .psd files (Paintshop, Gimp, etc.)

Thanks for the advise. I'm at work (not too busy between Christmas and New Years) however when I get home tonight I will check it out.
