Well, if the model by any chance ended up as being freeware, you could always paint it yourself to be conrail.

Of course, what it will be though doesn't really matter to me very much.

Really what does it matter if its freeware or $10?

Still painting. Just in case you're wondering what a cab-view model for an RW locomotive looks like (yellow denotes areas that have yet to be painted):

I've arrived a little late at the forum and this thread (I've only just registered this minute!). PapaXpress suggested I look in to see what's going on. I'm building a 1930's 2-8-0 Consolidation ... I've been posting WIP screenshots on my blog (http://mikerenniesmodels.blogspot.com.es/.

I bought facsimiles of the engineering drawings from a company in the USA, and I'm trying to make everything as accurate as possible (although unfortunately not every part is covered by the drawings), taking the resolution of 3DCrafter to the limit.

I'll keep an eye on the thread, in case there's anything I can contribute, as well as to pick up any tips that might help me along the way. I expect this project of mine to take around 6 months.

Thank you!

I'm working on the link motion at the moment. Every little piece takes many hours to build, partly because I'm striving for accuracy, so the entire project really will take months. The tricky part is going to be the cab, for lack of reference photos. I might have to use artistic licence and base it on whatever cab photos I can find. Also, the tender, because it's not included in the engineering drawings I bought.

That's good news. I am in dire need of a Consolidation for the TVRR.

Looking great, whenever you're ready to start on the cab I have some pictures that will come in handy. This engine would have had the same style cab as the Alco MRS-1.
