Yep weapons time

Going for the USA S100 0-6-0T

or in UK speak the USA dock tank

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USATC_S100_Class

One of the main reasons for my choice is that this loco type must be the most widespread class ever.

As well as the USA and UK it was used all over europe, the balkans , the middle east even China

Believe it or not there are still a couple example working for a living in Zenica steelworks in 2009

Now why did it have to have outside valve gear. :-?

Even though I'm definitely more on the diesel/freight side of things, I'm very excited for BOTH models!

Can't wait for the competition and good luck to both of you. *!greengrin!*

All good..., tho the insults may get worse.

Paul is a great modeller and an even better bloke for whom I have a great deal of respect.
I know we all take our hobby serious, (it is work for some of us after all) but there should always be time for some fun.

Ah ..... with just 24 hrs to go before the kick off ... find myself with very few detail pics of a S100 / USA dock tank any links or finds appreciated.

I do have a reserve though.
