Here is the weird thing. I used RW Tools to clone, rename and then swap out the driver locomotives on scenario 17 of Ohio Steel 2 scenario when the number problem happens. Now I went and made my own free roam scenario and manually placed the locomotives on the tracks and everything is fine.So is RW Tools messing with the locomotives when you use a scenario modification? I dont get it. I tried this with the stock CN SD40-2 and it is fine but the trailing W&LE unit shows the number problem.

This morning I went back and re-cloned scenario 17 of Ohio Steel 2 and just swapped out the driving unit only with SD40-2 4025 of the W&LE and the locomotive shows up normal.
Maybe it is me not completely paying attention to RW Tools when swapping out the locomotives?
This was after a computer reboot too.

Mike,
I did not get a chance earlier to post but I found the problem why the RSC W&LE SD40-2 repaint units have the white lettering problem. The DSCV.numbers file is corrupted. This could be as simple as the download or winrar not performing its job properly. When I opened it up the text was all garbled and miss formatted. I copied the one from the default CN SD40-2 then opened it up and edited out the 6105 to 0000 and the white numbers disapeared and the locomotives look great. Now to the GTrax SD40-2's. The problem is the same but also there is no sound.

Now for the GP40-2 units pictures;
YOU ARE MAKING ME DROOL!

Glenn

Hi Glenn!
I think I have found the error , the sound from the NC Models is at the BN models from RSC (SD40BnPack01).Click in the editor under RSC the BN models. The sound from the HL Models is at the Original models from Kuju.
Maybe works that.

Mike,
It works. The RSC BNSF was selected and the sound is there.
All the locomotives you repainted looks excellent.
Once I went back and modified the dcsv.number files, the white number disapeared. All of the locomotives I had to do this with.
I am still drooling over the work in progress GP40 pictures of the W&LE. Do you plan on having all 5 GP40's?

Michael,
With both the SD40-2's and GP40-2's you have basically covered half of Wheeling and lake Erie locomotive inventory. If RW had GP35's the W&LE would be mostly represented.
The only thing the conserns me is why the numbers DSCV file was corrupted when I downloaded the folders.

Keep up the excellent work.

Michael,
They look fantastic! I did look on the web and the most recent photo's show some still in Rio Grand paint. From what I had read, the W&LE has a few ex- Rio Grand corporate folks working for them and so that is why the paint scheme is similiar.
I cant wait to put these units to work.
