OK, here's a new twist to this. Britkits NG engines and cars couple just fine. (forgot I had NG equipment from Britkits. I have so much stuff!!!) Couplers are visible. My conclusion is there's no issues at all with my car.

it's a issue on the Clear Creek and DSNG equipment.

Could create two scenery blueprints in the Blueprinteditor which loads the geo for the coupled and for the uncoupled version.
I just would like to be sure that both geos show up correctly.

Hmmm.... Maybe at some point I might do that. It's not a major priority though. My boxcar is fine. I can work around Clear Creek and DSNG stock not liking the car.
