wacampbell wrote:In our case a signal script object was throwing an error. Prior versions of Railworks have always just ignored the error and carried on. But in TS2024 the error crashes the sim.

The error was visible in logmate as:
Code: Select all
[Script Manager 8:43:28 AM] Trace D:\RGBuild\CoreRelease\Code\DLLs\ScriptManager\cScriptState.cpp : 245 = error in
"...\Assets\RWA\Lakeside\RailNetwork\Signals\Scripts\Message Blocker.out" running function : C stack overflow

We had a more recent version of this script file available which we were able to roll out quickly to the RWA community.

Not sure if that is what you are experiencing, but hope it helps.

Thanks Wayne - I will pass it on.

Only a minor issue: the in-game store button is greyed out, and the community button doesn't work. It was working at the beginning in TSC2024 but not now. I had this issue a couple of years back and was told to tick some boxes in my Steam settings which fixed the problem. I have checked these this time and they are still ticked. This issue also stops you from seeing their latest offers etc.

My background image and music have changed, but the right-click Steam menu (available via the system tray) still describes it as Beta.

No biggie, but am just wondering if all TS code has updated or that I better unsubscribe from the Beta.

I like that TS seems to have evolved from problem-ware to a stable game. For me that is a first since over a decade. Well done DTG !!!!

I'm pretty sure that you have to quit the public beta for TSC2024 to show up.

My setup (Win10) automatically changed from the recent Beta to TSC2024.

I have my Steam icon pinned to the taskbar just like you and when I right-click on it it says Steam or Unpin from Task Bar. What do you have the game beta set to?
