Hi guys I'm looking for the G-Trax Trinity hoppers from Rick Grout I've searched his and this site high and low with no luck and all these nice repaints in the library that I can't use. Does anybody know where the hoppers are? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Rick's Trinity hoppers came with the BNSF Hi-Line and the CSX Hanover Sub routes. I can't remember if Rick also released them somewhere else. Are there no instructions in the repaints' readmes about where to obtain the shape (geo) files from or which DLC/downloads are required?

Cheers,
Michael

Go to the library and search for 'G-Trax 5161' and d/l the G-Trax 5161 covered hoppers dated Saturday 10 Oct 2020. That should include the Geo file you need.

Thanks for the help guys, all i read in the read me was that the shape file is needed and that they were Rick's original hoppers, not where to obtain them. I have both routes listed but wasn't sure if they were his originals. A little confusing but made clear here. Thanks for the help. I'm off to install a ton of hoppers. Thanks again!

Great repaints. They look great but i'm not getting any sound from them am I missing something? Should they have Hi line or Hanover sounds? Do they not work because of the repaints? Not sure what to do Can I ask for help one more time? Thanks..

I Already tried that all my wagon sounds are Krellnuts but for whatever reason these don't work it's complete
silence. Something aint right...I reinstalled the sounds, ticked them in the editor, made sure the files are installed correctly. I have Ricks articulated stacks in the same folder and they work so it's a mystery to me.

" I have Ricks articulated stacks in the same folder and they work so it's a mystery to me."
What do you mean by you have them in the same folder?

The path should be RailWorks\Assets\G-TraX\Trains\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons
In there is a file Wagon Freight Sound.bin . That should be the file that tells you that it uses WJ Sounds at least here. If you need that holler and I'll send it to you.

Thanks for the file I double checked and I have the right path and the files already. I meant I have both G-Trax stack cars and covered hoppers both in the G-Trax folder in my assets folder. I have done everything as it says to do, everything in place. I even removed the rapainted hoppers and left only the ADM, CP and generic ones in there as in the original download and I still have no sounds. It's the weirdest thing. I'm stumped...Thanks for the help anyway Buzz..

Specifically do you have the Wagon Freight Sound.bin dated 2014-5-19?

I got it now thanks I had a Clark Griswald moment trying to get his Christmas lights to work. It got ugly then I sat quietly for a few minutes then it hit me. Go get the wife, tell her what's wrong and it'll be fixed in 5 min. 5 min later I had sounds.
I swear all she did was get mad at it, said a few new curse words I never heard before and told me to try it again. Sounds worked. I can't explain it. All I needed was somebody who hates the sim so much it was going to work or get tossed out the window. Thanks for your effort Buzz.
