Railworks America

Hi all long time no see well,I was going to play TS2021 I opened up steam and clicked. View game library but now it says install. What will cause this to happen it still says next last played? And I still have all my folders railworks etc.Hope you can help.

1st - go to the Railworks folder and execute the *64.exe program and see if it runs….if not,

2nd - (backup if you can) run a validation…..

When was your next last played?

It might very well be you are a couple of versions behind, and Steam did some internal housekeeping on the essentials like C++ packages the game needs too.

If you can spare the HD space, make a copy of your Railworks folder and let Steam update run its course on the original folder.

I had the same issue. Was able to copy Railworks folder to an external HD. Trying to reinstall now but going very slow...

Had to install it all routes an etc. are still there thanks for the replies.

One other issue I had was that Steam would not let me verify files for TS-2021. Had to copy my files and start over downloading. Uck!

Ok thanks for the replies all. I tried installing the GE P42DC Enhancement Pack V1.0.0.4 Base Package, From True Rail Simulations. But cannot figure out how to install it. I read the read me I cannot find the P42DCgeo file, Anyone here get it to install correctly?

If you have 7zip, use it to unpack the P42Pack01Assets.ap file, that should solve it.

Okay that worked thanks now how do I get the engine to show up in world editor and scanrio so I can add it? Also I went to edit a scenario I clicked the box RSC,P42Pack01 now I don't see the P42 in scenario editor. it shows like this in the read me i did that belwo not showing up in scenario editor.
\Assets\RSC\P42Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\P42DC\TRS_PhV

I just reinstalled the Metrolink pack read the read me, But when I run the coaster the textures are messed up mixed colors. So what can I do to make it Coaster again thanks?
