Not sure with the exclamation mark?

I see some of the player trains on any routes have exclamation mark in F4 HUD. I have no idea when the exclamation mark appear on the right side of F4 HUD and all I did is to hit the " Q " key and see no more of this. What is the exclamation mark for with some of the player train? Is there anywhere can I turn off this in settings?

Let me know about this.

Cheers,

John

The exclamation mark is used for the alerter. Pressing Q resets this. As far as I'm aware there isn't any way to disable this in settings.

This is the proper explaination I suppose.

It’s a TPWS grid, which will automatically apply the brakes if the train passes a red signal. They’re sometimes also found a ways ahead of the signal, in which case the brakes will be applied if the train is going above a certain speed when the signal is red.
