Consists created in Quick Drive

Do the consists created in Quick Drive appear in the consist file with all the other consists created in the editor? If a consist is created in the editor, Do I need to enable it for it to appear in the consist drop down menu or do all consists show by default. If I select it and place it in a scenario will all corresponding child objects referenced in other asset folders be enabled by default? Example, Feather River FP7 has a child object (snow plow) from another asset provider. If this is picked from the consist drop down will the plow appear? Just some nagging questions I have forgotten the answers to.

Generally speaking in my experience the answer is no.

Hi AmericanSteam,
I just hit the same issue and can say that child referenced objects in other product/provider folders do NOT appear. This is even the case where you have the controlling .bin file in your own folder - which is a PITA!
Can't see a solution - though happy if sopmeone has one.

Exactly it is wrong to place the blueprints of a child in it's own folder (I think you mean: in another product/provider/ )
Do it like that ( fictional example ):
We have the loco blueprint there:
RSC\SD70ACe\RailVehicles\Diesel\Default\Engine\SD70.bin
This loads a child :
RSC\SD70ACe\RailVehicles\Diesel\Default\Engine\chimney.bin
You can place chimney.bin anywhere in RSC\SD70ACe\ , this is just a reasonable location.
chimney.bin is just a copy of
MyOwn\Creations\scenery\chimney.bin
and loads
MyOwn\Creations\scenery\chimney.GeoPcDx
You even can move chimney.bin from MyOwn\Creations\, it is not needed there.
By the way: This is the only working method to add childs to locos and wagons which are protected by drm.
This works with sound, too (just replace the GeoPcDx by a proxyxml)
