Steam won't run at start up

Has anyone had troubles with Steam not starting up in Win 10? Every time I start up the OS, I have to manually start Steam. Even changing a registry value which supposedly forces it to run does nothing.

Is there a solution to this?

In the Steam settings page there is an option to Start Steam when PC starts IIRC.

Just delete your PlayerProfiles.bin in RailWorks\Content\
If you want to be safe, just rename the file.

Repeat that with the other files in RailWorks\Content\
Only if that does not help use the check by steam.

I tried putting an underscore at the end of the player profiles in the content folder, as well enabling that feature that was suggested in the other post, and it still won't run on start up.

It used to with this OS installed, but there's been a few updates since then, and Steam hasn't cooperated for some reason.

Are there other last resorts? There is no way that I'm reinstalling Windows, as I don't have much data to re-download games.
