G-Trax 4-8-4 steam loco "firebox extinguished"

First off, THANK YOU to the entire G-Trax team for creating this wonderful route. Having hiked the "Iron Goat Trail" at Stevens Pass I had despaired of ever seeing it modelled in Train Simulator. You are awesome!

I've been playing the Oriental Limited scenarios with the beautiful G-Trax 4-8-4 Northern steam locomotive and keep running into a problem as I leave the Tumwater Canyon heading for Berne in Part 2. The firebox doesn't seem to allow adding any more fuel. I open the firebox and it shows open ("flame" icon) but the % fire mass keeps slowly dropping to zero, where it reports "firebox extinguished" and exits the scenario. Any ideas? There's plenty of fuel in the scenario (18 tons?) but it doesn't seem to want to add it....
