Route GN Cascadian Third scenary Train 38 Part 1problems with KI train

Unread postby gln003 » Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:32 am

When I am waiting in Tye there is an KI train labelded 'Westbound ...' stuck in the Cascadian Tunnel and doesn't move. So I can't end this scenary.

When I tried the second time, this KI train Westbound .. stood on the switchpoint which I had to pass, and too did not move. So I was stuck again.

Please tell me what to do.

It is a great route and I like it very much. The second part oif Train 38 runs well.

thank you

Sorry about your issue. If you are comfortable editing the scenario, the easiest solution will be to delete the train causing the issue. As soon as I update a new computer for TS, I will be reviewing all of the scenario issued with the route from the RWA source files and if necessary issuing a patch.

This apparently is a real problem that did not occur to me ( the author ) or the beta testers, until the latest revision of TS with the 64 bit version. I have not yet checked to see if this same problem exists when playing in 32 bit. I would appreciate any feedback on anyone's 32 bit experience with the original scenario.

I have uploaded a revised version of the scenario which does run to completion and does eliminate the problem AI train. It should appear soon in the file library. Otherwise the game play is essentially the same. Thanks for the "heads up" on the issue.

Thank you very much for your work and that you were looking at my problem. Perhaps I am at fault myself. The scenario was very long, and I saved often. Now I have learned that - if at all - you save a scenario when the train is standing still. I did not do so.
Perhaps this problem vanishes. It could be the mechanics of the simulator, and not the mechanics of your scenario.

Once again, many thanks four your work and your comments!
