Is there any advantage flipping the switch to "Manual" and raising both Front and Rear pantographs?
Thanks

I honestly don't think so. In real life, they ran the forward pantograph up on freight, and during incilmate weather, both of them up for continuate to maintain electrical contact and to prevent icing.

Yes, it's exactly what Galen said. For the sim, the two pantos are just visual items. One of them needs to be up and the engine will run. Rick implemented the manual control so that we can simulate the GN's winter operations.
