I've bought GN Cascadian and loved it. Great route ran many a times.
But know click on to use after many of years and No out of memory , the sight just drops . As if I never was in steam.
I did all the up dates, so called fixes, but nothing runs. I've read all the fixes but that's not the problem with just GN Cascadian.
It seams all my 3rd. party routes are not running, when a few years back every thing worked. No change in my computor except for a few.
Any route that I bought through Steam works.
One route EFDPII - Dom Pedro II during steam's updates at one time had problems but know they sell their products to steam, That route works everytime, no problems any more .Should I put a tin cap on and wonder if steam's routes are coded to work while 3rd parties are dumped. I have no idea , any clues

Have you run a verify with Steam? That would seem to be a place to start.
