Hello,
Im wondering as a beginner of scenairio editing, if I should, or is it easier to, CREATE an existing scenairio, or EDIT an existing scenairio? So far I havent had much luck with manipulating installed free add-on locos, havent really tried to use any add-on freight cars as of yet. I want to base the scenairio on CSX/Conrail freight operations. But again, I dont have a stereo-typical route for either road. (although Ive heard one or both is common on the Horse Shoe, yet the terrain is uncommon to what I am used to in west central Ohio) Anywho, I like AI traffic, and I want the driver train to be signaled to stop to wait on passing trains and such. My question is is there any video tutorials (youtube) on a "beginners guide to scenairio editing/creating? I searched on youtube and found nothing.

To install free addons, be sure to read the instructions carefully. Many addons are dependant on files from a payware package. The instructions tell you which payware files to copy over into the new folders.

For good instructions on writing scenarios, go to the "Tools and Docs" tab on the Railworks start screen. In the "Documents" box, click "Open Folder." Then scroll down to the pdf file named "RW Timetable View Manual_Web." It is a great source for writing scenarios and even has a scenario creation walkthrough starting on page 23. I printed a copy and put it in a notebook for quick reference.

Hope this helps. Using addons and writing RW scenarios makes our hobby more fun.
