Columbia Valley Pacific
08-Grand Bend Turn
June 8, 1949

Extra #1204 East - 2-8-2
Departure: 11:00 am
Conductor: C. MacDonald
Engineer: B. Bouchard

Now that the westbound Okanagan has arrived, the dispatcher has cleared us to leave Adams Bay. Our work load is fairly light today, but working for the railroad is always dirty and heavy. Be sure to print out your work order so you can complete all your tasks efficiently.

Run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file to install the scenario. A list of required rolling stock is included as well as a copy of your Work Order. As always, you may substitute your own rolling stock using utilities such as RW-Tools. I’ve also included a copy of my map files to help you find your way.

The Columbia Valley Pacific is one of my favorite routes. It “feels” like a real railroad and the scenery is beautiful. There is also a good variety of industries to keep operators busy. I’ve chosen 1949 as my era so I can run steam power. The Great Northern and Canadian Pacific railroads have already made the move to diesels for passenger power.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
