What's Wrong with this Command?

Can someone please help me correct this scenario activity (see picture)? I'm just trying to have the player locomotive pickup a cut of cars. When I couple to the cars, the task does not complete. In fact, there is no indication that I coupled to anything. The scenario marker is correct and the car numbers are correct. I've read bunches of tutorials and everything seems to be correct.

I made up a quick test scenario and it seemed to work OK ( I know that doesn't help ... ).
Ensure the car you are picking up is entirely inside the specified siding before the pickup.
Pick up the car from the proper end of the loco. In your scenario you specify picking it up at the back.
PS - unrelated to your question .. I noticed an overlay window in the upper right corner of your screenshot with the words "Conditions:Dry" and "Worsen:Shift3" What is this from? I have never seen it before.

It's part of the Smokebox 2-8-0 package.

If you want to get rid of those pop-up messages that appear when you edit a scenario, press F2 (to save) and they'll vanish.

check to make sure you do not have duplocate rail numbers. If another car has the same number anywhere on the route that you have in the cars you are picking up it will not acknowledge you picked up the ones you want

Hi Harry,
This may be completely off the mark, but I've found that this "trick" sometimes helps fix strange issues in scenarios: create a clone of the scenario and see if the issue is gone when playing or editing the clone. This has in the past helped me solve mysterious issues like the dreaded unknown reason for a path blockage, or when the editor gets stuck calculating the arr/dep timings in Timetable view. Maybe it can help here, too?
Cheers,
Michael
