If you have had the experiences I have had with scenarios with rolling starts in them, once the rolling start has been set- you just can't go back and make changes in them- especially the Player train- after the rolling start has been set. If you did not clone the scenario beforehand -do not fret - there is a solution!!
Step 1: Open up the scenario in the scenario in the scenario editor and bring up the player train.
Step 2: Click on the second box from the right in the upper right hand corner. A box will open up in the middle of the screen.
Step 3:Click on the "Open Folder button. At this point the editor will minimize to desk top- but do not worry, you did not crash the editor. An opened folder will appear on your desktop screen.
Step 4: Delete the "StartingSave.bin file. Do not delete the "StartingSave.binMD5 file- you would have to go back and re-check the rolling start box in the fly-out menu on the right of the editor screen.
Maximize the editor screen on task bar at the bottom of your computer screen
Make your changes to the scenario and save and exit. Re-start the scenario and re-save your rolling start (ctrl+F2) and exit. Re-start the scenario and see if the changes you made are what you wanted.
I hope this is a help to anybody who works with rolling start scenarios.
