Electrics for VNHRR?

The fabulous VNHRR route incorporates miles of electrified tracks, but so far I'm unable to find appropriate (presence of pantographs and correct era -- 1950's) U.S. engines to put all of that route building beauty to work. The PRR GG-1 is the only engine I've found so far, but I'm hoping that there's something I've missed.

What do you consider appropriate?

Just look between the parentheses (), Buzz; but I should have added appropriate road name.

If you tell us what locomotives you would like to see in what livery perhaps someone would help you out.

I don't understand why you are harassing me about this simple request. My O.P. states my question clearly and as specifically as possible. Please just sit back and let others respond (or not).

Well excuse me. I was going to volunteer to paint something for you if you would tell me what you would like to see but if you are going to be a butt about it you can wait and see who volunteers to help you out.

We are confused at your request. Your O.P states you are looking for period electrics to run on that route. The simple question is WHAT would be appropriate. Now i am blessed in knowing that the electrics in question would probably be EP5's in the McGuiness Paint. A majority of the people base here WOULD NOT SIMPLY KNOW THAT off the top of their head. It's not harassment if it's is a single question. It's harassment if it is more than 2 of the same question getting asked.

I think Buzz is asking for a specific make/model to be requested.

If I knew,
That's surely
what I'd do.

Since I don't
I've left it
up to you.

!!howdy!!

Seriously, folks, I'm not in any way a railroad historian. I just see all of that skillfully made and placed electrical equipment throughout much of the VNHRR and am seeking pantograph-equipped engines, including a switcher, if possible, to make use of it. I gather that's just too much to ask? Since the only American engine I've seen in the DTG catalog is the PRR GG-1, I mentioned that in my OP as an example and inquired about others.

Okay, so youse guys shamed me into a bit of research ( http://www.american-rails.com/electric- ... ml#gallery[pageGallery]/2/ ) and I found these, all used by east-coast rail lines:

By now, many of us recognize that last image as a Steeple Cab, thanks to the amazing Sacramento Northern route. I'll appreciate any other contributions, of course, and for now I'll head over to request some repaints. Thanks for pushing me, I guess.
