Picture problem when uploading scenario to Workshop. (solved)

Unread postby Ericmopar » Fri Aug 12, 2016 1:37 pm

When I go to upload a new scenario for Donner Pass Redux, the little gizmo for selecting a screenie, won't show me anything related to any screen shots I took for the scenario.
The picture choosing tool only lets me look at a limited number of pics, none of which are ones from the particular scenario.
Is there a way around this?

I figured it out. I suspected the Workshop uploader was picking screenshots from the Steam screen shots folder.
The folder hadn't been emptied in a very long time, so I just deleted anything I didn't want which was most of it and then the desired screen shots showed up in the uploader.

The screen shots for the Workshop uploader are drawn from this well hidden jewel...

To handle excess screen shots without deleting them, simply place them in appropriately named sub-folders, but be sure to do this before uploading them to Photobucket or a similar site.

I only deleted them out of that one folder Tom.
I still have the copies that the game puts in "My Pictures" or "Pictures" in Win 10.
I also have backups on a external HDD.

Plus Steam has them backed up online!
