Scenario Creator Problematic

Unread postby imphantum » Sun Apr 17, 2016 6:01 pm

I hadn't played train sim for nearly a year and a half because of computer troubles, but recently got a new PC. Since then, I've been trying to create scenarios and I'm finding that scenarios creation is way more finicky than it used to be. I'm getting many errors that shouldn't be errors. It seems like any scenario I create that involves a train on the track ahead or picking up different consists I get a driver failed somewhere. I even finished a scenario and ran it multiple times with no issue but when I opened TS the next day I had an error that I could not manage to fix no matter what I did. Did something change in TS16 that could cause this? Am I the only one with these issues? Thanks.

Need some more details, like what route, what loco, what specific tasks you are trying to implement (for example, are you using a marshal command, an add behind player engine command, etc). Several things can cause a driver failure error; you just need to learn (or relearn) what triggers them and how to work around them.
If what you've done is stupid but it works, then it really isn't that stupid at all.

You need a lot of experience to create scenarios, it is indeed not very stable. Even if you are experienced, expect surprises, things that work out different from your good intentions.

Please keep trying, be patient and be flexible. Sometimes the system surprises you in a pleasant way and sometimes you never get it working.
