Weird Problem-Destination Markers Invisble

Unread postby ATSFFAN » Wed Mar 02, 2016 1:18 am

I was working on a scenario for the Tehachapi route beta from 3DTrains. I was setting up a temporary speed restriction on a section of track in the scenario editor and decided I no longer wanted it there and tried to delete it. In the process of trying to delete it (I was not unable to), all destination markers are invisible. They show in the 2D map but not in the 3D world. I checked other routes and it is the same for them to. If I try to put a new destination marker, they to are invisible. Any help, and any insight to this problem will greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure why they would disappear from ALL routes at the same time, but have you checked the "Display" settings?

Scenario Editor > upper left flyout > click on "Display" icon > check right side menu. The orange colored icon should be checked.

If that doesn't work, one of the more experienced Scenario creators here may be of help.

That's good news. Glad it worked.

Yes, sometimes seemingly disconnected events can interact and cause unexpected consequences in this complex sim. I've learned the hard way to save often as you're editing and back up your hard work frequently. I've got a tear-stained keyboard to prove it. *!greengrin!*

Good luck with your editing.
