Is this stupid or am I stupid?

Totally leaving the door wiiiiiiiiide open there...

When placing a "Marker - Player Spawn Point" and making a list of destinations possible, you can use the little orange arrows to re-order your "stops" on the line. Seemed to me that if I sorted them out in the order a driver would encounter them, they'd be listed that way in the quick drive menu, but no they are alphabetical no matter how I shuffle them...

Short of pre-pending an ordinal (like "1 - Stop one, 2 - Stop two" etc.) is there something I'm missing? I'm still in a place where everything in this editor seems counter-intuitive.

It's a good tutorial, I learned about spawning AI trains which is new, but it didn't touch on my question. Seems pointless to be able to reorder the list if that order isn't used for the menu... Oh well.

The only way I have seen the order of the player spawn markers go in the order you choose is by placing a number before the name, and numbering the markers in geographic order.

Indeed, that seems to be the only way...

Prepending a number is actually nice for the player.
With so many routes, it's hard to remember the name of starting points and destinations.
A map is rarely available.

I just select places at random, which results in a too short or too long drive.
Numbers give you an idea of how much of the route you're going to run.

An even better solution would be distance numbers:
0 m - This place
12.5 m - This other place
27 m - This last place

That's an excellent suggestion!
