How Do I Check A Scenario?

Unread postby FHRob » Sat Dec 06, 2014 8:54 pm

Is there a quick way to review a scenario, and make sure the various items in the task list all receive a checkmark?

In other words, in an hour scenario, I want to make sure a task at 56 minutes gets a check mark, but I don't want to wait 56 minutes to find out if the task works or doesn't work.

Thanks,

Rob :D

Enable async keys to allow for ctrl-1...5 to enable 1...5 X game speed.

You will still have to run the scenario and hate life somewhere around the 5-6th time you run a scenario and discover a new way the AI has decided to derail, but at least it'll be slightly faster.

My only real check is to run the scenario at various levels of completion. I also like to send scenarios to some friends for beta testing. Even after all that, things can still go wrong.

Thanks for the link. *!!thnx!!* The enable async keys option is really cool. !!*ok*!!

The scenario worked - at least for now. What you said about AI deciding to derail is so true. I'm still trying to understand how a train that was on track 1 the first time is now on track 2. !*don-know!*

Sometimes it seems as if the AI is more intelligent that one would believe.

Sorry to pop this bubble, but in my experience our beloved "dispatcher" does not always react to events sped up by Async as it does to events passing in real time.
