Frankfurt U-Bahn - Opinions?

Unread postby Nicolás » Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:18 pm

I know this forum is centered around American content, but I wanted to know opinions on this route, which previously was only available on the developer's website and now it's official content, which is better for me. Does anyone here have it? If so, would you recommend it? It looks pretty good.

I’ve bought both versions from Just Trains directly. It’s really well done and if you have any interest in light rail you’ll love this. Scenery is well detailed as are the trains.

Echoing dr1980: if you're into light rail, this route is really well-done. There's a great sense of atmosphere and attention to detail that really brings the route to life. The above-ground parts feel appropriately dense for a major cityscape, while the underground segments have a really cool occluded lighting effect that makes you feel like you're really driving underground.

On top of the route, there are 3 different tram types for you to drive, with good physics and great sounds. The controls are scripted differently than most other trains, so definitely read the manual so you know how to get set up and going.

I definitely recommend the route! I appreciate that with all of Frankfurt's U-Bahn lines included, there's a good amount of operational diversity to keep you hooked for a good long while. Enjoy the route if you do end up purchasing it.

Quality control of Just Trains is far superior than that of DTG.

What's your point? Can't you just say that the QA of Just Trains is great?

My point is regarding quality control of JT.
I have played almost all of their recent releases and I was more satisfied with what DTG provided from UK routes & rolling stocks.

I think RailWorkshop's point was that the quality of Just Trains' stuff is way better than DTG's.

That's great that you all think Just Trains stuff is great but I don't see it necessary to put someone else down to say something nice about someone.
