Update for 64bit editor

Unread postby AmericanSteam » Tue Feb 26, 2019 3:14 pm

Did DTG ever release an update for the 64 bit editor or give a definitive answer to address the access violation issue? The 64 bit editor fix was to be released last month I believe.

There's an update that just been posted but it seems that it may cause other issues according to this thread.

I confirmed the update, did some route editing, and do NOT see the route coordinates problem mentioned in the quote. Previously reported problems seem to indeed be fixed in this 64-bit editor update. Signals and turntables are working for me, after doing some editing.

I guess it's good to still be cautious, however.

Contrary to the experience of others on this post, I have not had any difficulties with the 64-bit editor for about a month now. It used to crash a lot in the editor with the "access violation error." Now, it doesn't do that.
