That's an external program's FPS counter, not TS, not Steam.

mikeadams2k wrote:Like many (I suppose), I was frustrated by the fact the TS2019 Desktop shortcut and the Library link default to the 32-bit version. I don't let Steam run in the background, so some of the other methods listed to start in 64-bit mode, don't work for me. If you look in the ..\Railworks\ folder, you'll see Railworks.exe (370kb) and Railworks64.exe (372kb). I swapped the names between the two files. (You may want to backup the files before renaming them.) Now the Desktop shortcut and the Library link both default to the 64-bit version. If you want the 32-bit version, click the Play button in the library and select 64-bit. I'm sure this method is not for everyone, but it works for me. I imagine that as TS2019 is updated, or if you 'verify the integrity of the game files', the two files will revert back to the original names.

This is an effective work-around; now I don't have to start the 32 bit in off-line mode and exit just to get to the 64 bit version. Thanks very much! !!*ok*!!

I have seen a few references to the 'Access Violation' crash. While I have not experienced that with Blackwood Creek, I have had that happen on the entire VNHRR in 64bit only. This happens with included career scenarios as well as third party and Workshop scenarios. Scenarios load fine in 32bit mode. Has anybody experienced this and has anybody found a cause or a workaround? This seems to be the only issue I have had with the 64bit.

Same results here. Access violation in 64 bit. Runs fine in 32bit

I submitted a support ticket yesterday but being the weekend, I haven't gotten a response yet. Hopefully they get it patched soon.

Well, I guess I am stuck running VNHRR in 32bit mode as it seems that AMD is no longer supporting Windows 8.1 with driver updates so DTG won't dig any deeper. Is anyone else who is having this issue running an AMD GPU?

I'm not running a AMD so that doesn't apply to me.

Chiming in to say that I have an NVidia card and cannot run the VNHRR (purchased through steam) in TS19, at least not in 64-bit mode. I get the same access error. I haven't tried it in 32-bit mode, though.

It worked in 32 bit mode here but not 64 bit.

Non of the Budd RDC scenarios work in 64, but the Amtrak scenario does. Still looking at rest.
EDIT
Just ran the Amtrak scenario yesterday and saved
resumed today and had an 'access violation'.
no std scenarios will run.
yesterday I could run all my freeroam. Today 'access violation'.
