KCS will need a new model that has the numberboards above the cab and not on the nose. I thought about doing it, but want it to be as accurate as possible. It was a good suggestion though.

Well I mean, we have a totally wrong BNSF skin, but whatever.
Do CP then?

I was simply commenting on that who cares if it's not an accurate model. The BNSF one isn't accurate either, but it's an addition.
I and Kevin were the first ones to do any sort of modding to TSW but the complexity and lack of cloning ability to have stand-alone skins or changes is the reason we decided not to pursue it.

We had a plan to make a GMDD SD40-2 for it, but the ability to add models to this game is dismal, and the future doesn't look any better to being able to add things without having to ask and beg DTG to implement it into a 'build' of the game, so our interest is zilch in the platform right now. With TS becoming 64 bit, we have big plans that we're going to announce to go with the AC4400CW we're already nearly done with.
Off topic though. If people wish to make reskins for the game, forget about model accuracy as there is no way to change anything. Just do it anyways.

Just in case you didn't knew, there is a update friendly way of installing repaints. There is no need of moving game files. Just put pak file inside your DLC folder, like shown on screenshot:
In case of any update, Steam will not re-download any unnecessary files and mod installation doesn't have to be repeated every update.
P.S
You can name pak file whatever you like.
