Im interested in this new TSW but so far I read alot of Negative about the game so I won't want to read more about it cause usually doesn't help. SO There were new updates been coming out and just curious on how is the game Running now?

There have currently been 4 updates with a nice 5th one coming soon.

Many of the framerate issues have been addressed, but I do know there is a pesky save/load issue still to be addressed.

There are many videos out there that show how it is, or just listen to Harold. :)

I ran it some this weekend. The framerate issues (which I never had a big problem with to begin with) have certainly been well addressed. I ran along the route and had high framerates at all times, only occasionally dipping as low as 30. My settings are all pretty high. I have an i5 2500K clocked at 4.3 and a 970.

Cool! I have a barebones i7 8 gig rams. And a 980 video card so I'm planning to buy me TSW this summer.

I have a slightly similar system to Griphos, and I'm happy with the way it runs. Have settings set at medium and get similar FPS to him.

Can't believe you guys can shill this game at 40 bucks.

A train game with limited unreliable game play and no free roam isn't worth 40.

Shill??!?! How is reporting my performance relative to a specific question about performance shilling?

With respect to your (unsupported) comments: haven't found the game play unreliable in any way either. And I've never used free roam in any train sim...so not sure what the problem is there. I have no idea what you mean about graphics being dumbed down (can graphics be smart???), but it most certainly doesn't look like Railworks, bad or otherwise.

TSW has it's pros and cons. I have seen improvements and it is still evolving. The graphics are far superior to Railworks although they have been "modified" to improve gameplay. Yes, there is room for more improvements especially addressing the stuttering issues and graphic and physics anomalies I will wait for a few more updates to see if I will continue to support the venue and purchase additional content. I have doubts about an editor at this time due to the amount of assets that could be added to any created route. We have seen in past updates the removing of assets to improve frame rates.

Perhaps shill is too strong and word but please let's play nice. Everyone is entitled to their opinions about TSW good and bad.

I have enjoyed the time spent with TSW.

I find the graphics beautiful, the game play engaging and the enjoyment factor is high. I'm happy with what they've created and hope for, and look forward to, new content and improvements in the future.

As I've said in others posts, far too many people spend their time bashing other games unnecessarily. I enjoy a variety of different train games for different reasons and see no benefit to spending time castigating one game or another; as each has its own aspects to recommend themselves to enjoy.. TSW is a pleasant diversion.

If you can spend the money freely, I'd say go for it.
