All TS veterans know about Scenarios, but TSW also offers Services, which combine some of the characteristics of Free-Roam scenarios with the old Time-Tabled variety (as perfected by Jim Friedland), allowing the engineer to select an engine, carry out the tasks assigned to it, and then proceed to another engine, and so on. The novelty here involves the new walking ability, of course. At least one of these involves switching and I've yet to reach the end of the daisy chain. With these Services especially, the fact that they can be saved, quit, and resumed easily is a definite advantage, displaying the merit of a one-route simulator.
