Will TSW2 get a real SD40 or a fake one, like TS2021?

How does a fake SD40 looks like?

TS2021's CRR SD40 is just a hackjob and a bad one at that. It's the decade old Kuju SD40-2 model that was out of scale to begin with, with flexicoils added and nothing else changed.

Is there a SD40 or 40-2 in TSW2? and is it a 'fake' one or a real one?

The CSX SD40-2 included with Heavy Haul, it's to L&N/SBD/Family Lines spec.

I quite enjoy this route in Train Simulator, looking forward to seeing it rendered in TSW. The F unit will be cool to see too.

Wish we had a new route, but it's nice to see another US Freight route in TSW. Happy they're going to the past.

A lot of CSX Heritage getting pushed out by dovetail lately. Need some NS Heritage in my life, E&L, Southern, Conrail, PRR! !*cheers*!

I agree. While I love the idea of historical routes of fallen flags, they don't need to all be CSX. I'd like the Horseshoe Curve in TSW2 with either Conrail or Pennsy.

Clinchfield is looking great!

To quote directly from the announcement article ....

“The upcoming route extends from the railroad’s northern terminus and connection with the C&O at Elkhorn City, Kentucky, 35 main line route-miles to Dante, which served as the key point of CRR’s coal operations. And the route will include each of Clinchfield’s north-end coal branch lines – the Fremont Branch, Nora Spur, Greenbriar (or Haysi) Branch, and McClure Spur. Together, these branch lines will add another 27 miles of trackage to the upcoming route.”

A good outlook for the new route. Still uses the Wankey horn and old loco sounds.
