Yard Highway Overpass

Hey all,

I've begun the restart of my SETEXAS route and placing some objects in the scenery. I haven't done much to date but am trying to take it slow and easy. I have a yard in the NE section of Houston that has several sets of tracks that are spanned by a multi-lane highway (I think that it is Loop I610 or betway 8).

I'm in the process of constructing the bridge over the tracks and I'm not sure what the process is. I've placed the abutments for the ends of the span and strung a set of girders between them. Which brings up the following questions.
1. based on the stains in the Google image it looks as though there are about 12 locations of girders in the span. Should all be put in?
2. What's next? Do I add in images of Highway Overpass objects from the collection of bridge images? or just lay a highway section over the girders? or both>

The railworks guide 5.04 has pretty good instructions for applying the grading around bridges and underpasses, I'll be messing with that after a bit.

Ok, if I am reading this correctly, you want to know the process of spanning your yard with a bridge and then placing a road or highway on it? Is the bridge a standard asset or a lofted asset? This is important to know; if it's a lofted asset you are placing then I would suggest using the "offset" tool. If you are placing standard assets then you will have to align them manually and then place a road or highway on top of it and line it up as well. As for the supports, place all of them in there or as many as you like to gain the look you desire for that area. I hope this helps out. Feel free to PM me with any other questions.
