Is there any way to get different ground, I guess its the ground/soil/surface. New to this route building stuff and just been messing around. Got some terrain in, markers, well not getting that figured out but I'm not really worried about that right now. Anyways, the ground surface is like the desert type. Mostly all brownish, is there anyway it can be something like an all grassy/greener type or anything?

There are some free textures you can utilise from this website - http://www.cgtextures.com/, you obviously need to know how to create textures to start with, but, there are a couple of websites around that you can research for more varied stuff.
