Game crashes when jumping to markers

For some reason, when selecting a marker in my route, and using the jump button next to the compass in the route editor, the game gives me the dreaded 'something bad happened to your program' message. However, when I do the same thing in Marias Pass for example, it jumps anywhere just fine. The crash seems to occur when jumping more than a few kilometres away from the current camera position.

I'm not sure if this is related to the fact that I haven't associated any custom terrain textures with procedural flora in the blueprint. This might sound crazy, but I have seen weird things happen in the game before, due to the lack of this. I'm not even sure where to reference it to in the terrain texturing blueprint, since there is no provider or product field. Turning anti aliasing off makes no difference. However, I doubt it's the video card that's causing the issue. Has anyone here had a similar problem and remedied it?
