Tunnel Track

Unread postby Weezknight » Thu Aug 22, 2013 8:18 am

You guys are going to get tired of all of my questions, but I hope not.

I was trying to follow the tunnel tutorial video, but I couldn't match the tunnel track. It said to use "tunnel track 01" which should be just the shadowed track without walls. Unfortunately my "tunnel track 01" has walls. The problem I'm facing with this is that the tunnel I'm making was built to accommodate double track, but was later deemed to be too small, so they put in junctions to make it one track, but the inside of the tunnel and its entrance/exit are the width of a double track.

Basically I was hoping to lay down a tunnel track without walls, so that I could use the double width entrance, and then lay a double-width trackless tunnel line to put up the walls. Was there a change to the tunnel track 01 at some point? Is there another asset group I should add so that I can use a tunnel track without walls?

Can you lay 2 tracks to get your width and then lower one track underground? Not sure if it will take the tunnel with it when you lower it.
